Most people think of computer nerds or geeks as fat, ugly, pimp-faced guys that have glasses and never leave their rooms. I’d have to tell them they are wrong.
Look at me for example;
I love computers and technology, I build websites for a living, my only real job was working at an I.T. firm. I play computer games for at least 4-5 hours A DAY and I know the basics of coding, development and hacking.
Funny enough, I also go to school for network security! Guess what though, I don’t care what anyone says. I love being a geek. I am proud of it. You know why? It is something I love and enjoy. I still go out and pick up girls, party with my friends and drink, but at the end of the day, I am still a nerd.
I recently watched a movie called Hackers 2 about someone I consider my hero. Kevin Mitnick. One of the greatest hackers of all time!
I think you guys should watch it, maybe you might learn a thing or two about “geeks”.
